We
read about it but these days it’s hard to find. A quiet chalet
surrounded by Canada’s natural beauty, the lake on both sides of the
peninsula and lots of forest trails to explore on foot or
bicycle.
This retreat is situated in Ontario’s, Presqu’ile Provincial Park, an
easy one-and-a-half-hour drive east of Toronto and west to Kingston.
The nearest town is Brighton, 10 minutes away with its antique store, Waddington's Auction House and Mrs. B's Old Fashioned Candy Store and more. Cobourg and Belleville are only 40 minutes away. There is plenty of natural inspiration for any painter, photographer or writer. Birders are known to come far and wide to see nature’s splendor. Come and find your uplifting motivation. We are not a drop in Bed and Breakfast open to the public. We are a retreat taking reservations from amateur and professional artists, writers, photographers; birders are always welcome. We provide a quiet, smoke-free and child-free, inspiring haven for you to work on your unfinished manuscript, paint or photograph in the park or just rejuvenate by relaxing on one of the many park beaches or on the back deck. |
